1. Open the Instagram mobile app on your Android or iPhone device.

2. Find the post you have commented on that you want to delete. You can do this by checking Notifications section to find recent comments left on your post.

3. Tap either the comment icon  below the post or tap on any comment under the post.

4. If you use an iPhone, swipe left over the comment that you want to delete.

6. Tap the trash can icon  for (iPhone),  or   for (Android).

1. First, open Instagram on your browser, you can use chrome, safari, edge, or internet explorer.

2. Next, find the post you have commented on that you want to delete. Or the comment someone else left on your post.

3. Click on the post and hover your mouse cursor over the comment you want to delete.

4. There should be three dots at the right corner of the comment, click on the dots and tap on delete.

If you are using an iPhone, please follow these instructions:

1. First, open the Instagram mobile app on your iPhone and locate the post that you’d like to manage.

2. Next, Click on view all comments, this should be below your post.

3. Click on  in the top right, then click on Manage Comments.

4. Next, select all the comments you want to manage.

5. To delete the comments, tap Delete in the bottom left, then tap Delete Comments.

6. To block comments, Tap More Options in the bottom right, then tap Block Accounts. Click it again to confirm

7. To restrict comments, Tap More Options in the bottom right, then tap Restrict Accounts. Tap it again to confirm you want to restrict the accounts.

Should you respond to every comment on Instagram?

2. Next, click on your profile icon at the bottom right corner of the app.

3. Find the post that you wish to disable comments for.

4. Click on the three vertical dots at the right corner of the post.

5. You’ll get a pop up with a few options. Click on Turn off commenting.

1. First, open Instagram mobile app on your phone.

4. At the bottom right corner you’ll see settings with a gear icon , tap on it.

5. Next, tap on privacy and then comments.

6. Under Controls you can alter your settings to allow comments from everyone, people you follow and your followers, people you follow or just your followers.

7. Under Filters, you can choose to hide offensive comments by tapping the toggle to switch it off or on. You can also manually add words you’ll like to filter from your Instagram post.

You can also block people individually from leaving a comment on your Instagram post. Simply tap on Block Comments from under controls and search for anyone you’d like to block. They won’t know that you have blocked them.
